What is "Asabura" sandals ...
Long ago, in Seto (Aichi Prefecture) where there are many slopes, craftsmen sewed linen (Asa) fabric on the sandals so that they could easily work, so it came to be called "Asaura".
In the Showa era, bicycles became popular, bicycle tire had been sewn on the back of asaura instead of linen. Its name was also changed from "Asaura" to "Asabura" since that time.
・Produced in Gosho City, Nara Prefecture, which is famous for producing sandals.
・Made by several craftsmen from age 70 to 85 years old.
※You may feel tight at the beginning, but after wearing a few times, it will become looser and more comfortable.
※Due to the use of natural material, please avoid from water, moist and sweat as they may cause mold.
※The bottom part is made with bicycle tires, there may be smell of rubber, but will gradually disappear by times of use.

※It is designed with a urethane sponge sandwiched between the heel.
※Since natural materials are used, there are individual differences in the unevenness and shape of the surface.
