Textile design refers to the patterns applied to fabrics. Fabrics are used in many aspects of daily life, including clothing, bags, and interior goods, adding color and beauty to our everyday lives.
I have worked as a textile designer for over 60 years.
I believe SOU・SOU’s textile designs are characterized by:
・Expressing the ever-changing beauty of the four seasons
・Blending traditional motifs with today’s lifestyles
・Featuring playful, colorful designs with a touch of charm and cuteness
Japanese people have long found comfort in living in harmony with the seasons.
In spring, we use a tenugui with a cherry blossom pattern.
In autumn, we wear clothes with chrysanthemum motifs when we go out.
I would be delighted if you could enjoy textile designs in this way.
