It is a loose-fitting garment inspired by the image of a person who carries a sword by their side.
・Katamikawari means the design or color of left /right side is different from the overall design of the clothes. It is originated from Muromachi Era and popular in Momoyama period.
・It uses Sakao Orimono Chizimi Cotton 20/20 Circulor washing fabric.
・It is dyed using Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing.
・The cuffs are gathered with elastic, and when worn, they create a slightly puffed silhouette.
・It has a front-opening fastener on the inside.
・There are three pockets, one on each side and one at the back.
・With elastic waistband and drawstring. (The rubber band is replaceable)

*Because of Hand-printed (hand printing), there may be slight variations in shape, which is a characteristic of the dyeing process.

[About Chizimi Cotton]
・This woven cotton uses yarn that has been produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture since the early Edo period at Era, and it is made with yarn (Tightly Twisted yarn) that has been strongly twisted, giving the fabric a crisp, shibo-like texture.
・Because the fabric has a textured surface, it has less contact area against the skin, so sweat spreads quickly across the surface, and the perceived body temperature is said to be 2 degrees lower.
・Excellent performances in Sweat absorbing · Quick drying · Air permeability · Hygroscopicity · Moisture release.
・Takashima chizimi cotton, which has benefited from the natural resources of Lake Biwa, boasts the highest production in Japan.

・Do not hand-wash. As the dehydration is weak, and the dye may start to dissolve in the water causing migration or bleeding.
The same applies to hand washing.
Because there is a risk of color transfer, please use a neutral detergent and, after washing, dry immediately in the shade.
・Please wash separately at the beginning.
Because the color may bleed, wash it separately from white or light-colored items.
